Register
This is important to know after you yank, delete and want to paste. It can serve as a temp store to store data you yank or delete.

which is the default register when you don’t specify any register with other command. There’s also number and alphabetical register aka "a-z and "0-9
.
You can use ctrl-r
to enter register mode quickly in command and insert mode.
